3-31-14

Spent the morning putting things in place to begin building a duplex in Altamont. Then at lunch I made it to my brothers. Then sonny and I were able to beat judy. She has been unbeatable for some time but today she lost.  Thanks for lunch 

Then I came home and took a nap. Spent the rest of the day with finances since April is coming. Wow where has this year gone. 1/4 of the year is gone. 

3-30-14

My Sunday school lesson was on Daniel. Then after church I took a nap then three days walked over to visit. They brought with them two friends. Had a good visit. 

For church tonight we watched a movie. Then we celebrated the march birthdays. Made it home and am ready for bed. Have a busy week scheduled. 

3-29-14

Long day. But I slept on the sofa so making progress

David Suzzann and Matt tooke to Manhattan for aunt Margaret's. 90 birthday

I thought I had it made as favorite nephew. I tried using the broken rub and stool I came but david beat me out 

His name tag said David favorite nephew 

How depressing. Oh sure david wrote his own name tag 

Had a great time. Aunt Margaret was pleased that so many e to help celebrate

Since she is a die heart k state fan I got her a Oklahoma state hat. At least she wore it for the picture

3-28-14

Figured out that if I sit and sleep in the red chair that I can get up and down without pain. Much better that getting in and out of the green chair. So I rearranged the living room. Then sonny and judy came by and helped me arrange it even better. 

So had a good day. Didn't need much medicine. Did drive into town to see if I could handle being in a car

Face timed Thomas. He is hungry all the time. Brian said he is gaining weight so I need to get down there to see that boy

3-27-14

Felt like uncle Lloyd. I slept in a chair last night.  Didn't think I could get into and out of the bed uncle Lloyd slept in a chair for years. Still taking medicine and have a lot of pain but know that my accident could have been worse. 

I drove to my brothers for lunch. Wanted to see if I could handle the drive. Yes played cards and let judy beat me. Ok I tried real hard to bet her but she is on a run of beating me

This evening herb brought dinner to the house. Thanks for the ribs. They were great

3-26-14

So much for having fun. Had an accident this morning. Fell off a ladder and broke 2 ribs and cracked another. So my having fun cutting wood is going to have to wait a while. Went to emergency room and had X-rays done. I have a big bruise on my right side and under my right arm. Won't be playing golf for a while. But I will be able to eat ice cream. Ok just a random thought 

So I take medicine and sleep   Just like my grandson. His medicine of choice is milk. He is eating a lot. He is growing. May have to make a trip to see him since I am not cutting trees

Have had offers to drive me to leanna and Brian's to see Thomas  neighbor have already brought me food  I think Hanna day needs to start a catering business. Great meal. Thanks

Plane on eating at sonny and judy tomorrow. I can still cook but friends want to help. 

Thanks for the prayers. Dr said it will take 3 months to heal. Maybe roger and I can go on a long cruise and just enjoy life

3-25-14

Worked downtown cutting a tree all day. It is the same tree we worked on yesterday. Finally got it done. The other 28 trees are much smaller. Looking forward to tomorrow. 

Go ahead call me crazy. I enjoy being on the back side of a chain saw. Maybe because you need a strong back and a weak mind. Saved all you from saying that I was crazy. 

Talked to leanna and Thomas. They are doing fine. He is eating a lot and growing. I may have to take a trip to Oklahoma to see that boy. 

Not tomorrow I need to cut trees
