2-28-14

Last day of February. It was miserable outside this morning. Rainy or sleety if that is a word. If not you heard it here first. Trend setter from Altamont kansas. 

Had lunch with sonny and judy then sonny and I shopped while judy visited her aunt

I spent the evening trying to get signed up for a cruise. Problem is that they are going to charge me over double if I travel alone. So no cruise yet. 

Going to be a grandpa next month. Looking forward to that. 

2-27-14

Went to visit the kesslers and two of their daughters and children. Then I watched a movie that Kim burks and Donna Jackson gave me. Both of those ladies are crazy so I should not have watched the movie but I did.  Movie was "the way"  Then this evening I ate with the days. I always enjoy an evening with them. Can't help but smile and laugh with them. 

So I had a busy day. Didn't get anything accomplished but had a good day. 

I received a message from Uganda  Africa. They asked for special prayer because of persecution. 

Also pray for Burt the coin man. He called and asked for prayer also.  

2-26-14

Where has the month gone. It was cold this morning. I worked outside. The wind was blowing from the north. Then I came inside and worked inside this afternoon

I spoke to the youth of the church this evening about my mission trip to Africa.  They seemed very interested and wanted to go on a mission trip. The youth are getting ready to go to winter jam. They sould have fun there

2-25-14

Got up and went outside. It was cold so I put on more clothes. Then I worked out all morning

Went to lunch with sonny and judy. Then I let judy beat me in cards. Ok she beat me fair and square. Then I got some lilacs from the farm and replanted them here at the house. Yes it was cold but the county extension office guy said to replant them between valentines day and st Patricks day. So I chose today as it was in the middle

Then I find it it is supposed to snow tonight. Oh well I have wood inside and will stay in tomorrow 

2-24-14

Ok maybe I am crazy. Called my friend ac and we played golf. Maybe it was 31 degrees. We were not the only ones to be playing at that course. Had a good time. 

Then ac went home to build a kitchen cabinet and I went back to David's. Met him and then we cut a huge limb off the tree in the front yard. Sarah said it was growing too fast and was getting close to the house.  Anyway we got the limb cut and put out for big trash day.  Then I drove home.  

Leanna had her last appointment with the at risk pregnancy doctor. Thomas weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces.  The doctor was pleased with leanna and Thomas. Oh Thomas has a lot of hair. Oh Thomas may be independent and a little stubborn. Hum must get that from brian. Brian had lots of hair--before he lost it all. 

Now she goes to see the regular pregnancy doctor weekly. 

So soon I might be a grandpa. Not too excited. Yeh right. 

2-23-14

Had a good day at church. Did Sunday school then had children's church then the pastor spoke on Hebrews 1. It was good. 

As soon as church was out I headed to OKC to celebrate David's birthday. I can't believe that david is 42. So we had dinner and had a good time just talking.

Went shopping for a birthday present for my son. He will be 42 tomorrow. He just told me what he wanted so I tried to get what he requested. Doesn't always happen that way. Sometimes I just get him something. But this year asked and waited for answer. 

It was a beautiful day. Almost spring like
