Rafters are up and sheeting started on duplex

Left and drove to Tulsa for a VMI board meeting. Had meeting until 10 this evening 

Received a call at 6 about my friend mike ellis. He had a turn for the worse. Doctors said that the don't what else to do.  Told Michelle that if he doesn't improve then they will remove the life support. They gave mike 3 days. Pray for mike and family and medical staff

Finally got all the brush from when I broke my ribs chipped. It was a nice day and I was able to get the yard cleaned up so that it will be ready doe spring growth. Beautiful day. Did you see the moon and the sun rise. Wow breathtaking 

The duplex now has the ceiling joist up I will take pictures In the daylight. It was dark when I went into town

My friend mike ellis is in the Columbus university hospital. They are going to be doing a procedure to get him up and ready for a heart transplant. The surgery will be at 7:30"in the morning. They asked for  prayer. Mike had not been up out of the bed in 30"days

Thomas is 8 months old. He weighs 20 pounds 14 oz  he is also getting taller but leanna did not measure that. Today I helped my brother work at the farm. Then I had lunch with them. I was trying to be nice to judy and she took advantage of me and beat me real bad in a card game.   

Then I came ho,e and spent a couple hours chipping wood. Had to stop to get ready for Awana. Tonight we took the kids roller skating they had a blast. I forgot how 7 12 year old act in the car. I drove with 7 of them to coffeyville and then back. They all wanted to ride in my car on the the home. What did I do wrong. Got them all returned to their homes or to their parents. So it was a good night

Election Day. I hope you all got out to vote. It is our obligation as American citizens

Had a good day taking care of Thomas. We had lunch with uncle david and aunt sarah

Then we just spent time honing our skills of jumping in the jumper, scooting on belly backwards, scooting on bottom round and round and in general making grandpa smile.  It is a very hard job I have

I left in time to get home this evening. Thought I had a meeting in the morning but found out it is next week. Oh well I am home. 

Sarah is still doing good. She has so much energy. I am glad the chemo has not slowed her down

Leanna is still teaching but knows that her real job is taking care of Thomas. 

I just received a call about mike ellis. He was supposed to receive an artificial heart this week. Well last night he had a setback. They are still evaluating his markers. Michelle is hanging in there. Pray for mike Michelle and the boys and the medical staff that is watching mike. He is still in Columbus Ohio university hospital

Got up early and drove to OKC to take care of Thomas. He gave me a big smile when I came in the door. 

We spent the day taking naps, jumping, crawling, and turning over. But we were happy when mom got home and caught us practicing our backwards crawl. 

So brian bought a roast and asked if I would fix it today.  So we had roast potatoes, carrots sweet potatoes and onio for supper. I just put it all in a slow cooker and played with Thomas 

Sarah had a good day teaching. She went to the vo tech and had a class all afternoon.  It was good for her to be back teaching

Got extra hour of sleep. Needed it. Began a new series for Sunday. School. We are learning about the bible and walk through the bible then Greg taught on the faith of Noah. 

I tried to rest but spent most of the afternoon in the phone

For tonight's church our small group went to Edna for the circuit rider church service. So I saw a shootout.  Then had a cowboy poet sing and recite cowboy poetry. Then had a good message on following the call of God. Whether you are a pastor or a grandpa God has a plan for our lives

Wow it is already November. 

Don't forget to roll your clocks back tonight. So we get an extra hour of sleep

Went to the memorial for Carolyn Evans . It was good to see the herold clan. Very good service. It was a good celebration of her life. 

Sonny and judy doing ok. They are just resting as much as possible to heal from their surgeries
