Today is flag day. We need to remember why we honor our flag.
Didn't get a lot accomplished today.
Altamont dictated the new community building at the park

Also 850 bicycle riders rode through the city on their way to Oswego. Today they only rode 81 miles. Because of he heat many were stopping to get ice water. Praying they continue to have a safe trip

Had a good day. Got up and did the laundry necessary things like that need to be done on schedule. I have found that I am so OCD that it is not even funny.

Went to sonny and Judy's for Elijah to play with lady. They had a good time. I mowed while there then I checked on the cows and horses

Then I went to the farm and mowed and checked on the cows. They we in the creek and shade at both places. Then I came home and took a nap. Needed that

Then I mowed here.

As I was eating supper I saw that roger was spraying the corn across the road. He was spraying for weeds. He will spray my corn tomorrow

It got hot today. I turned the air conditioner on.

Went to church tonight then played games after church

Got up this morning and realized that a friend was having surgery on OKC today. So I headed to OKC. Got there in time to have lunch with david. Leanna was with her mother in law where she was having cataract surgery. After lunch I picked Leanna up and we went to the hospital to be with Helen As Drue was having back surgery. At 5:30 the doctor came out and said that the surgery was very successful. Lots of prayers for Drue Helen and the medical staff.

So now I am back home Am glad that I went.

Sometimes it is important to be with friends as they are facing difficult times. I know that while I was taking care of barbara there were lots of friends that helped get me through the days and nights. Just trying to pay back to others for the kindness shown to me and my family

6-10-13

Spent the morning on the computer and telephone. Then I went outside and worked on my soap. I put new soap bars on my nut and fruit trees. So far irish spring soap is a deer retardant. That and a dog. Elijah barks at them at night I see tracks at the edge of the field nut so far not at the trees. So I am the only farmer raising boxes of Irish spring.

Then I had a dentist appointment. It had been 2 years since I saw the dentist. He told me I only have to brush the teeth that I want o keep. Guess I will keep brushing.

Then I took Elijah up to visit lady ( my brothers dog). They have a great running together Of course Elijah s always wet from the pond when we come home. Yes I have a blanket for such cases.

Had a good day. Went to church and learned about Peter walking on water after Jesus told him to come walk on the water we just need to have faith.

Had lunch with david Suzzann and Matt.

After church tonight several of us played games. Very relaxing time.

Whew. Got up and went to enjoy the festivities of flag day. Went and watched jump rope contest. Finding money in a stack of hay. Chalk on main street. Parade. Enjoyed the morning. Then I came home and finished mowing the yard. Then I took Elijah to the farm to play with lady. They had a good time so I decided to mow for my brother. So I got their yard mowed. Then I went to the farm and mowed it also. Yep did a lot of mowing but at least the yards are mowed so if it rains at least they are mowed this week
