Got up early and sprayed my fruit trees. There was no wind at sunup so it was a good time to spray

Then I took a nap. I made phone calls to medical people this afternoon. I signed up for Medicare earlier this year. Well I received notice from 4 different medical services that I need to pay them because Medicare wouldn't pay them. After talking to the various offices they are working on it and I feel that Medicare will pay.

This evening I went to the relay for life in Parsons. I walked a lap with a man who had cancer 20 years ago. He said that he had lost his wife and that it was hard. But not as hard as when he
Oat his daughter. He said that he had to just keep going.

So bottom line no matter how difficult of a time we have with life (losing a spouse in particular) there is always someone else that has traveled that road already or maybe even a harder road. Thank you God for always taking care of me

69 years ago was D day. Thank you all who gave their all so that we could have freedom

Drove to Altamont today. We have had bout 14 inches of rain this week. Is good to be home. My dog and cats missed me. Will probably have one of the cats sleep with me tonight.

The weather was great to drive home

Got up and left Jackson tenn at 6:30. It was raining hard. We drove to Memphis and had breakfast with a friend of Brian's. Then we drove to OKC. The trip is over. Had a good time got to see a lot and visit a lo of friends and even made some new friends

But I am glad to be headed home it will be good to be in my own bed. Tonight I will be staying at leanna and Brian's.

Spent the night with bob and nancy
Left after breakfast for Knoxville. For ro have lunch with rich and Debbie and girls
Always enjoy spending time with them

The we drove to Jackson tenn to visit a friend of Brian's.

Will spend the night here then drive on to OKC tomorrow

Well 3 months ago barbara died. I miss that lady. Can't believe I have made 2 months.

Left Williamsburg to drive to doe rover gorge. Good friends of ours from San veto Italy live there at a Christian camp. So we made it to bob and Nancy's and was able to see the camp. Today is the first day of camp so it was a busy time for all the Staff and kids

Had a good time just talking to bob and nancy. Stayed up way late for me just talking

Happy anniversary to david and sarah
And mike and melissa
Went to church at tidewater bible church. Charlie Stillion and I spoke about village ministries. I very much enjoyed that. Then we went out to eat. Then we went back to spend the rest of the day with the sages.
Very relaxing time
we will be heading west toward OKC tomorrow

Wow

Got up and went to Jamestown Settlement. It was really interesting. Then we headed back to virginia beach for the banquet for my military reunion.
it took us 3 hours for what would normally take 1 hour. Major traffic jams. Made me appreciate the traffic in Altamont.

Very touching. They honored the pow's. The mia's and the Kia's. Then we had a flag folding ceremony Then we had a speaker that has been in the security group for 30 years as a military guy then he went to the civil side doing then same thing. He gave us insight not what is going on now I the field.

I think a good time was had by all
