Survivor week 39 day 7

Guess what. It is raining. Wow over an inch already. Moisture came down most of the day
Barbara got up and had breakfast and said she didn't want to walk for the therapist. I put her back to bed to rest
Leanna headed home and at noon the therapist came. Barbara walked from the living room to the kitchen 3 times. That got her heart rate up so the therapist said that was enough. He was worried that Barbara might be losing her need to eat. Well after he left we had a good lunch. Then after a short nap we ate again at 3:30. I don't think we have to worry about Barbara not having an appetite.

Barbara is still having leg pain but she said it is much less than before.

Thanks Diane for the daily cards of encouragement. Like you keep saying God is in control. We keep seeing miracles every day.

Survivor week 39 day 6

Busy day. Barbara asked to sleep late. I let her sleep until 8 then got her up and fed her. She took a nap and then the lady came to help her take a shower. Then the nurse came to check her vitals. All vitals are within range

Nancy and Dwight brought lunch. Very good.

Barbara felt good this afternoon and tried on her green wig. She still has a sense of humor.

Had supper with david and Suzzann. What a good time

Survivor week 39 day 5

Barbara felt pretty good when she got up. Her leg hurt but she wanted to walk
She took a nap and then said that she did not want to walk for the therapist. Leanna convinced her to walk for the therapist. When the therapist got here Barbara walked for him. He was impressed that Barbara wanted to walk. Then we had lunch. After lunch Barbara had a stomach ache. She felt better after she drank some 7 up.

Barbara received a call from Nigeria wanting her to know that the pastor s there pray for Barbara twice a week. Also received a note from Arizona that people were praying for Barbara plus we got a call from people in Altamont that they were praying for Barbara
Isn't it amazing that God has people all over praying for her. God does have a plan and we are glad that we allow God to work His plan. Thank you God

Survivor week 39 day 4

Barbara got up early and then went back to sleep. She rested until the health care aid came to help her take a shower. She felt much better after the shower. Then we had lunch.

Barbara did a little bit of walking. It makes her tired but she needs to walk to strengthen her legs. She continues to have leg pain but walks anyway. The therapist will be here tomorrow

Survivor week 39 day 3

Got up this morning and Barbara requested beef liver for breakfast
Yep lots of protein in beef liver. Then she took a nap. Then we went to give blood for her weekly blood test

Thanks for the prayers because her platelets were 109,000 today

We had lunch and the therapist came to the house to work with Barbara. Then she rested

Hanna Day and her grandmother made a ladybug quilt for Barbara. It sure is great to have great neighbors

Leanna and I were in the back yard at 7:30 and we saw 10 deer in the back yard. They sure are fun to watch when they take off running and the white tails are bouncing in the air.

Survivor week 39 day 2

Correction. Last night Dwight and Nancy's granddaughter name was Eliza not Alyssa. Oops sorry to mom Leslie

Barbara got up and was determined to go to church. We ate at 7 and she went back to bed with a headache and leg pain. We didn't make it to church. Brian went home this afternoon. Leanna will stay a couple of days then go home.

Barbara still is getting better and her mind works good but her body just can't keep up.

Survivor week 39 day 1

Ok today Barbara gets up and she wants French toast. What does she think I am -a cook?

Yes I fixed French toast for her. She slept and rested most of the day. At 4 she wanted to show Leanna and I that she could walk. Not great but she walked. Her heart rate was high like she had worked out --she had.

We went outside. We had a birthday party for her. Outside She had a great time. Thanks to all those that came. You made Barbara's day. Dwight nancy Alisha david Suzzann ac virginia melissa Hayden Sonny judy becky Elena leanna brian

It was perfect weather and great fellowship with family and chosen
families

Barbara said her leg was still hurting but only at a level 3 not a level 10.
Another miracle.
